Most hunts are conducted using spot-and-stalk techniques, calling, and strategic setups to intercept bugling bulls during the peak of the rut.

Public land hunts require participation in the New Mexico draw system or purchase of unit wide landowner tag.
Private landowner tags may be available for hunters who are unsuccessful in drawing a public land license, subject to availability.
Hunters must possess all required New Mexico licenses and permits.
Sierra Blanca Outfitters provides assistance throughout the application and licensing process.
Transportation to New Mexico, taxidermy, meat processing, meat shipping, hunting licenses, and guide gratuities are not included unless otherwise specified.
Deposits are required to reserve hunting dates.
