These fully guided rifle hunts provide hunters the opportunity to pursue mature bulls on quality private lands with guaranteed tag opportunities and outstanding success rates.

The majority of hunting takes place on premier private ranches, where excellent elk populations and mild terrain create exceptional hunting conditions. Rancho Rojo utilizes spot-and-stalk tactics, glassing, calling when appropriate, and years of local knowledge to put hunters in position on quality bulls.

These 5-day rifle hunts begin October 10th and run through December 31st, with hunters selecting five consecutive hunting days based on availability. Bulls averaging 260–320" can be expected, with larger trophy potential existing each season.

Rifle elk hunts run from October 1st through December 31st.
Hunters select five consecutive hunting days based on availability.
Standard hunt format is 2 hunters to 1 guide (2x1).
Dedicated 1x1 guide service is available for an additional fee.
Guaranteed private land elk tag included.
Hunting licenses, taxes, and applicable state fees are not included unless otherwise noted.
Caping, meat processing, and taxidermy are not included.
Trophy retrieval from the field is included.
Non-hunting guests may be accommodated for an additional fee.
Guide gratuities are customary and appreciated.
Hunters must comply with all New Mexico hunting regulations and outfitter policies.
