Trip Overview

Heartland Pride Outfitters offers exciting Northwest Kansas Pheasant and Quail Hunts across more than 25,000 acres of private land in prime Kansas upland bird country. These unguided hunts take place across productive habitat featuring crop fields, grasslands, creek bottoms, shelterbelts, and native cover known for holding strong populations of wild pheasants and quail.

These hunts are priced per hunter, per day and require a minimum of 2 hunters booking for at least 2 days. Hunters can choose between hunt packages with lodging or without lodging, allowing flexibility depending on travel plans and group preferences.

Kansas pheasant and quail season typically opens the second Saturday of November and runs through January 31st, providing excellent late fall and winter upland bird hunting opportunities.

Current daily bag limits are:

  • 4 pheasants

  • 8 quail

These hunts are ideal for hunters looking for a more independent upland hunting experience while gaining access to large-scale private land with excellent bird habitat and strong bird numbers.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Hunt is an unguided Northwest Kansas pheasant and quail hunt

  • Hunts are priced per hunter, per day

  • Minimum booking requirement is 2 hunters for a minimum of 2 days

  • Hunt packages are available both with and without lodging

  • Hunt takes place on more than 25,000 acres of private land

  • Kansas pheasant and quail season typically opens the second Saturday of November and runs through January 31st

  • Current bag limits are:

    • 4 pheasants daily

    • 8 quail daily

  • Hunters must possess all required Kansas hunting licenses and upland game permits

  • Meals are not included

  • Hunting success is not guaranteed and depends on weather, bird movement, and hunter execution

  • All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon

  • No refunds for early departure or unused hunt days

  • Hunters are expected to follow all state hunting regulations and property rules

  • Liability waivers may be required prior to the hunt
