Trip Overview

Heartland Pride Outfitters offers exciting South Central Nebraska Pheasant and Quail Hunts across approximately 5,000 acres of private land in prime Nebraska upland bird country. These unguided hunts take place across productive habitat featuring agricultural fields, grasslands, creek bottoms, shelterbelts, and natural cover that support strong pheasant and quail populations.

These hunts are priced per hunter, per day and require a 2-day minimum booking with a minimum of 2 hunters required. Hunters can choose between hunt packages with lodging or without lodging, allowing flexibility based on travel preferences and group setup.

Nebraska upland bird season typically runs from October 31st through Jaunary 31st, providing excellent late fall and early winter bird hunting opportunities across South Central Nebraska.

Current daily bag limits are:

  • 3 pheasants

  • 6 quail

These hunts are ideal for hunters looking for a more independent upland bird hunting experience while still gaining access to quality private land with strong bird numbers.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Hunt is a fully guided South Central Nebraska pheasant and quail hunt

  • Hunts are priced per day

  • Minimum booking requirement is 2 hunters for a minimum of 2 days

  • Hunt packages are available both with and without lodging

  • Hunt takes place on approximately 5,000 acres of private land

  • Nebraska upland bird season typically runs from October 31st through January 31st

  • Current bag limits are:

    • 3 pheasants daily

    • 6 quail daily

  • Hunters must possess all required Nebraska hunting licenses and upland game permits

  • Meals are not included

  • Hunting success is not guaranteed and depends on weather, bird movement, and hunter execution

  • All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon

  • No refunds for early departure or unused hunt days

  • Hunters are expected to follow all state hunting regulations and property rules

  • Liability waivers may be required prior to the hunt
