Trip Overview

Kansas is a premier destination for quail hunting, offering an 8-bird daily limit and expansive habitat that consistently supports strong bird numbers. Kansas Trophy Experience provides guided quail hunts in Central Kansas, where experienced guides scout year-round to ensure hunters are placed in the most productive cover each day.

In addition to excellent quail hunting, these hunts often present opportunities to pursue wild pheasants, making this a true mixed-bag upland experience. With diverse habitat, knowledgeable guides, and carefully selected hunting ground, hunters can expect a dynamic and rewarding day in the field with the potential for both quail and pheasant action.

Hunts take place on carefully selected private land featuring CRP, native grasslands, agricultural edges, and thick cover ideal for holding birds. Whether you’re an experienced upland hunter or new to quail hunting, guides tailor the pace and approach to your group, focusing on quality dog work, smart field selection, and efficient shooting opportunities.

Kansas quail season runs from mid-November through the end of January.

  • Hunters are responsible for obtaining all Kansas licenses and permits

  • Airfare, travel to camp, gratuities, meat processing, taxidermy, personal items, and alcohol are not included

  • Private suite lodging available upon request and subject to availability

  • Hunt plans and locations may be adjusted due to weather, bird movement, or safety considerations

  • All hunts are conducted on private land under fair-chase principles

  • Substitutions or date changes must be approved in advance
