Trip Overview
Hunt trophy mule deer in New Mexico's renowned Unit 5A on a fully guided 5-day private land archery mule deer hunt. These highly managed ranch hunts offer access to exceptional mule deer habitat known for producing mature bucks with outstanding genetics and legitimate 180"+ trophy potential.
Hunting consists primarily of spot-and-stalk tactics, utilizing extensive glassing from elevated vantage points before making a stalk on a targeted buck. Terrain is generally easy to moderate with elevations ranging from approximately 6,500–7,500 feet.
Although hunters must still submit an application through the New Mexico Outfitter Draw process, this hunt is offered with a private land authorization that provides a guaranteed draw opportunity when the application is properly completed and submitted by the deadline. Rancho Rojo can assist hunters throughout the application process.
