Trip Overview

Experience the challenge and excitement of hunting free-ranging pronghorn antelope on New Mexico's open public lands. This fully guided 3-day archery antelope hunt takes place in limited-entry units and offers hunters an exciting opportunity to pursue quality bucks in classic Western terrain.

Hunters can expect opportunities at antelope bucks ranging from 12–17 inches, with guides utilizing a combination of spot-and-stalk hunting and strategically placed ground blinds positioned near water sources and travel crossings. These methods provide hunters with multiple opportunities throughout the hunt while adapting to changing conditions and antelope movement patterns.

This hunt is conducted during New Mexico's August archery season and provides an exciting, fast-paced hunting experience in some of the state's premier antelope country.

These hunts are offered through New Mexico's limited-entry draw system. Applications are typically due in mid-March, with draw results generally released in late April. Rancho Rojo is happy to assist hunters with the application process and Outfitter Draw opportunities.
