Trip Overview

Devin Chavez Hunting offers a high-quality New Mexico Antelope Hunt during two prime windows in August and late September, giving hunters the opportunity to pursue one of the West’s most exciting and challenging species. Known for their speed, sharp eyesight, and wide-open country, antelope hunts require precision, patience, and strong execution—making this a rewarding hunt for both experienced and newer hunters.

These hunts take place on carefully selected New Mexico ground, including access through landowner vouchers, which provide a major advantage by helping hunters secure tags and hunt quality areas. Devin and his team bring strong local knowledge and a proven approach to getting hunters into position on mature bucks.

Hunts are conducted as a 2 hunters to 1 guide (2x1) ratio, ensuring personalized attention while maintaining an efficient and productive hunt structure. Whether you’re hunting the early muzzleloader season or the late September rifle window, this hunt is designed to maximize opportunity while delivering a professional, well-run experience from start to finish.

Available hunt dates include:

  • Muzzleloader: August 22–24

  • Rifle: September 26–28

Hunts are in extremely high demand each season and availability is limited. Hunters interested are encouraged to contact the outfitter directly for current availability and information regarding available landowner tags.

  • Hunts are conducted as a 2 hunters / 1 guide ratio

  • Hunt dates are August 22–24 (muzzleloader) and September 26–28 (rifle)

  • Landowner voucher is included; hunters are responsible for completing licensing requirements with the state

  • Hunting success is not guaranteed and depends on conditions, shooting ability, and animal movement

  • All deposits and payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon

  • No refunds for early departure or unused hunt days

  • Hunters are responsible for proper gear, licenses, and compliance with New Mexico regulations

  • Devin Chavez Hunting reserves the right to adjust hunt locations based on conditions

  • Liability waivers may be required prior to the hunt

  • Hunt availability and tags are limited and dates fill quickly. Please contact the outfitter directly for current availability and landowner tag options.

  • Landowner tag availability varies by hunt and season and cannot be guaranteed until confirmed by the outfitter.
