Trip Overview
Trip Description
This private, fully guided waterfowl hunt takes place on private land and leased wetlands near Carbon, Texas. Hunts begin before shooting light and target ducks, teal, mallards, and other available waterfowl from layout blinds and prepared setups over motion decoys. Limited to four hunters, the trip is structured around scouting, migration activity, and current pond or wetland conditions to provide a focused Central Texas waterfowl experience.
Why Hunt With Us
Ryan Huckaby brings more than 25 years of waterfowl experience and a detailed understanding of Eastland County’s ponds, wetlands, and migratory bird patterns. Every hunt includes pre-scouting, carefully placed blinds, and motion-decoy setups designed to put birds within effective range. The private, small-group structure allows for safer shooting, more instruction, and a more personal hunt than hunters typically find on crowded public water.
