Trip Overview

Experience exciting fall snow goose hunting with Thompson Outfitters in Southeast Nebraska near Falls City, an area known for productive agricultural fields, excellent waterfowl habitat, and strong fall migrations. Hunting takes place over professionally scouted feeds and proven migration corridors, providing outstanding opportunities throughout Nebraska's regular light goose season.

Hunts are conducted from heated pit blinds, A-frame blinds, and layout blinds, depending on bird movement, weather, and field conditions. Every hunt is planned around current migration patterns to maximize opportunities each day.

Nebraska's regular fall light goose season runs from October 4 through December 31, offering excellent opportunities to pursue snow, blue-phase, and Ross's geese with a daily limit of 50 per hunter. Hunt timing is dependent on migration, weather, and bird concentrations. Hunts are priced per hunter, per day, allowing you to customize your trip based on your schedule. These hunts can also be combined with duck and Canada goose hunts when conditions allow. Please contact the outfitter for current availability and customized combo hunt packages.

  • Hunt pricing is based on a per hunter, per day rate. Hunters may choose the number of hunting days they wish to book, subject to availability.

  • Nebraska's regular fall light goose season typically runs October 4 through December 31.

  • Standard Nebraska regulations apply during the regular season, including a 50-bird daily bag limit for light geese.

  • Hunt dates are dependent on migration, weather conditions, and bird movement.

  • Hunts may be combined with duck and/or Canada goose hunts when conditions and availability allow. Please contact the outfitter for combo hunt options.

  • Lodging and meals are not included.

  • Hunters must possess all required Nebraska hunting licenses, HIP registration, federal duck stamp, state permits, and comply with all Nebraska and federal waterfowl regulations.

  • Deposits may be required to reserve hunt dates.

  • Guide gratuities are not included and are appreciated.
