Trip Overview

The late-season archery hunt focuses on predictable feeding patterns as whitetails recover from the rut and concentrate around major food sources during the cold winter months. These hunts are afternoons only, based around feeding patterns in cold late season conditions.

Golden Triangle Whitetails manages hundreds of acres of food plots and agricultural crops, creating dependable feeding areas that attract deer during the late season. Mature bucks often return to regular patterns during this time, providing hunters with excellent opportunities.

With controlled hunting pressure and carefully managed habitat across 14,000 acres, with 600 stands and 100 box blinds, hunters can experience productive late-season whitetail hunting in one of the most renowned big buck regions in North America.

Over the past 11 years alone, Golden Triangle Whitetails hunters have harvested hundreds of bucks scoring over 150 inches, including 91 Boone & Crockett whitetails. These results are a direct reflection of the strict land management, low hunting pressure, and carefully managed habitat that consistently produce opportunities at truly mature Illinois bucks.
