Trip Overview

Heartland Pride Outfitters offers an exciting Two-State Turkey Hunt combining prime turkey hunting opportunities across both Nebraska and Kansas. This fully guided 6-day hunt gives hunters the unique opportunity to pursue and harvest a turkey in each state while experiencing two different styles of Midwestern turkey country.

Hunters will chase hard-gobbling birds across a mix of agricultural ground, creek bottoms, shelterbelts, pasture land, and prairie terrain throughout both states. Nebraska offers opportunities at hybrid birds with Rio Grande and Merriam’s genetics, while Kansas is well known for its strong Rio Grande turkey populations and expansive private land access.

This hunt is fully guided from start to finish and is designed for hunters looking to maximize their spring turkey hunting experience with access to quality private land in two separate states during one trip.

Please note that Nebraska nonresident turkey licenses are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and often sell out very quickly after release, typically in early January each year. Kansas nonresident turkey permits are subject to a lottery draw system, with applications typically due around mid-February annually. Hunters are encouraged to plan ahead for both states’ licensing processes.
