Trip Overview

Trip Overview

Eastern/Central Oregon is one of the most underrated turkey destinations in the country, and AOA Outfitters puts you right in the middle of it. The AOA team grew up ranching and hunting Central and Eastern Oregon — they know this land intimately, and it shows from the moment you arrive. This 3-day fully guided turkey hunt targets Rio Grande gobblers on private ranch lands and select public ground in Central/Eastern Oregon, where birds are vocal, unpressured, and plentiful.

Oregon's spring turkey season is one of the most liberal in the West, offering hunters the opportunity to tag up to three gobblers — all on over-the-counter tags, meaning no draw, no waiting, no luck of the lottery. Just show up ready to hunt. AOA's guides will have birds located before you hit the field each morning, putting you in position to work a tom at first light. Expect classic early-morning setups near roost trees, calling sequences over decoys in open ranch meadows, and spot-and-stalk opportunities through creek bottoms and timbered draws.

Why Hunt With Us?

The AOA team grew up ranching and hunting Central and Eastern Oregon — this is their backyard, and that local knowledge puts you on birds that other hunters can't find. With exclusive access to private Central Oregon ranch lands, you're hunting unpressured toms that gobble hard and come to the call. Oregon's OTC tags mean no draw, no waiting — just show up ready to fill all three of your spring tags. Lodging and meals are fully covered, so all you have to do is hunt. Clients come back to AOA year after year for a reason: it's personal, it's productive, and it's the real Oregon turkey hunting experience.
