Whitetail Heaven Outfitters offers a premier Opening Week Kentucky Archery Whitetail Hunt in the heart of one of the most legendary trophy buck regions in North America. Nestled across the bluegrass region of Central Kentucky, Whitetail Heaven controls and manages over 25,000 acres of intensely managed, fair-chase whitetail habitat in Kentucky alone. This region is famous for producing both the Kentucky state record typical and non-typical bucks, with the state record non-typical taken less than eight miles from their Kentucky lodge—and Kentucky itself holding the record for the 6th largest typical buck ever taken in the world.
The Kentucky archery season opens September 5th, and this hunt is designed around one of the most exciting windows of the entire year—early season, patternable bucks with a real chance at deer still in velvet. With minimal pressure, predictable summer-to-early-fall movement, and bucks focused on food sources and routines, opening week offers some of the best odds of catching mature deer on their feet in daylight. This is a true fair-chase, free-range hunt with no fences and no shortcuts—just great land, great deer, and a proven system built over more than 21 years of experience.
Whitetail Heaven offers two package options for this hunt: a 5-day / 6-night hunt or a 7-day / 8-night hunt, giving you the flexibility to choose between a focused early-season strike or an extended stay to maximize your opportunities during this prime window.

Early season hunts offer a chance at velvet bucks, but velvet is not guaranteed
Hunting success is not guaranteed and depends on weather, deer movement, and conditions
A harvest fee applies to any deer successfully harvested and is due at the time of harvest.
All deposits and payments are non-refundable, no exceptions
A rebooking fee of up to 20% may apply for rescheduled hunts
No refunds for early departure or unused hunt days
Hunters are responsible for licenses, tags, and compliance with state regulations
Whitetail Heaven Outfitters reserves the right to remove any guest for misconduct, safety concerns, or behavior that compromises the experience of others, without refund
A hunting agreement and liability waiver must be completed prior to the first day of the hunt
