About the Guide


Founded in 2002 by Tevis McCauley, Whitetail Heaven Outfitters has spent more than two decades building one of the most respected trophy whitetail hunting operations in North America. The outfitter manages and hunts over 70,000 acres across six states—including Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Florida—located in some of the most productive Boone & Crockett producing regions in the country.

Their core focus is trophy whitetail deer, with many properties located in central Kentucky, southern Ohio, and southern Indiana along the Kentucky and Ohio River systems, areas known for producing mature, record-book bucks. Whitetail Heaven maintains strict 130", 140", and 150" minimum farms, and their harvested bucks average around 150 inches gross score.

Habitat & Management
What sets Whitetail Heaven apart is its long-term habitat and herd management program. Properties are planted year-round with high-protein food sources—including soybeans, clover, alfalfa, and winter grains—combined with low hunting pressure, balanced herd ratios, and strict harvest standards. Many farms have been under this management system for more than 20 years, allowing bucks to reach full maturity.

The Hunting Experience
All hunts are 100% free-range, 100% fair chase, and 100% no fence. Whitetail Heaven offers semi-guided hunts with fully guided options available, with lodging and meals included. With over 1,500 treestands already in place and experienced guides across multiple states, hunts can be customized based on season, experience level, and hunting goals.
