Trip Overview

Williamson Outfitters offers a premier Florida coastal duck hunting experience along the Forgotten Coast in the Apalachee Bay region—one of the most unique and productive waterfowl environments in the country. North Florida serves as a winter home for large populations of diving ducks, making it one of the best places in the U.S. to target species like redheads, bluebills, and buffleheads, along with opportunities at canvasbacks, pintail, teal, scoter, wigeon, gadwall, mergansers, wood ducks, and more. Duck season runs November 21–29, then resumes December 12–January 31.

These hunts are built around a proven system that includes large decoy spreads, motion decoys when needed, and experienced guides who understand how to position hunters based on tides, weather, and bird movement. Depending on conditions, hunts may take place from boats or traditional Florida palm frond blinds, offering a dynamic and authentic coastal hunting experience.

Williamson Outfitters offers both half-day (morning or afternoon) and full-day (morning and afternoon) hunt options, giving hunters the flexibility to choose the experience that best fits their schedule. With trained retriever dogs, professional guides, and a hands-on approach, this hunt delivers a memorable and action-filled day in the blind whether you're chasing a specific species or simply looking to enjoy a great hunt with friends and family.

Early season duck hunts are nearly full, with only limited openings remaining. Good availability still exists throughout the month of January, making it an excellent time to plan your hunt.

Contact us today to reserve one of the remaining January dates, or lock in your preferred dates for next season before the calendar fills.

Enhance your hunting experience by adding comfortable lodging and meals prepared by a private chef. This optional upgrade allows you to relax after each day in the field while enjoying quality accommodations and freshly prepared meals, making your trip as enjoyable off the hunt as it is on it. Whether you're hunting with friends, family, or entertaining clients, this add-on provides a comfortable and memorable hunting experience.
