Williamson Outfitters offers the ultimate “Cast-N-Blast” experience along Florida’s Forgotten Coast—combining a guided coastal duck hunt with an inshore fishing trip all in the same day. Running from November through January, this trip delivers a true “Old Florida” outdoor experience, blending fast-paced waterfowl action with a relaxed and productive day on the water. Duck season runs November 21–29, then resumes December 12–January 31.

Your day typically begins with a half-day duck hunt, targeting the abundant diver duck populations that winter in the Apalachee Bay region. Hunters can expect opportunities at species such as redheads, bluebills, buffleheads, and a wide variety of other coastal waterfowl depending on conditions. Hunts are conducted using large decoy spreads, experienced calling, and setups that adapt to tides and weather.

After the hunt, the trip transitions into a half-day inshore fishing charter, where you’ll target species like redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, flounder, and black drum. This portion of the trip offers a more laid-back but equally rewarding experience, rounding out a full day on the water.
