Big Cedar Whitetails follows a long-standing trophy management program designed to maintain a healthy population of mature bucks. Our management strategy has helped create consistent opportunities for hunters to pursue quality Illinois whitetails year after year. A minimum harvest standard of 130" gross Pope & Young applies to all bucks unless the deer has been pre-approved by management as a designated management buck. Bucks harvested below the minimum standard, including button bucks, are subject to a $1,000 fine.
Demand for these hunts remains extremely high. While availability for the current season is limited, select openings remain available and hunters are encouraged to reserve dates as early as possible.

Hunt dates are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Deposits are required to secure hunt dates.

Hunters must follow all Illinois hunting regulations and ethical hunting practices.
Safety harnesses must be worn when hunting from elevated stands.
Hunting success cannot be guaranteed and is affected by weather, wildlife movement, and hunter performance.
