Trip Overview
Experience premier Southern whitetail hunting at historic Whetstone Plantation in Autauga County, Alabama. This fully guided archery deer hunt takes place across a beautifully managed landscape of croplands, pastures, mature timber, food plots, and natural wildlife habitat that has been carefully developed to produce healthy deer populations and quality hunting opportunities.
Whetstone Plantation limits hunting pressure to just 8–10 guests per day, ensuring a quality hunting experience and access to a well-managed property. Hunters can expect to hunt over productive travel corridors, food sources, and established stand locations while enjoying the renowned hospitality that has made Whetstone Plantation a destination for hunters across the country.
Archery season runs from October 15 through the opening day of Alabama gun season, providing hunters the opportunity to pursue mature whitetail bucks during some of the best early-season deer hunting Alabama has to offer.

Trophy Buck Requirements
To qualify as a trophy buck, deer must meet one of the following criteria:
Minimum 16-inch inside spread (typically wider than the ears), OR
G2 and G3 tines must each measure at least 6 inches
