2-Day Hawaii Free Range Axis Deer Hunt

Go Hawaii Outfitters offers a unique opportunity to pursue free-range axis deer on the island of Molokaʻi, home to an estimated 30,000 axis deer and some of the most challenging and rewarding hunting conditions in the country. Known as a "triple threat," axis deer have exceptional eyesight, a strong sense of smell, and high population density, making them both abundant and difficult to hunt.

Hunts take place on nearly 15,000 acres of private land, featuring a mix of open terrain, rolling hills, and forested areas that create ideal habitat for axis deer. This is a true spot-and-stalk style hunt where hunters will be actively glassing, moving, and working into position on animals throughout the day.

This is a 2-day guided hunt offered year-round, providing flexibility for hunters looking to combine a Hawaiian vacation with a world-class hunting experience. While quality bucks can be harvested throughout the year, the prime time to pursue trophy axis bucks is generally June through August, when bucks are most active and hard-antlered. Rifle hunting is the primary focus, though archery hunts may be arranged upon request for those seeking an added challenge.
