Trip Overview

Williamson Outfitters offers a one-of-a-kind Florida hog hunting experience along the Forgotten Coast in Franklin County, delivering an action-packed hunt unlike anything else in the country. These daytime hog hunts take place in the rugged coastal swamps and marsh systems of the Florida Panhandle, combining boats, highly trained catch dogs, and hands-on hunting for a truly unique pursuit.

Your hunt begins before daylight, meeting your guide at a designated boat ramp before heading out onto the water. From there, guides assess wind direction and conditions to locate active hog areas. Once positioned, the dogs are released and quickly go to work, using their instincts to track and locate feral hogs. Depending on the situation, the dogs may bay or catch the hog, giving hunters the option to move in and either dispatch the animal or observe the action.

This is a 6-hour hunt, typically run with 2 hunters per guide/boat, with a maximum of 4 hunters per trip. In favorable conditions, it’s common to encounter multiple hogs in a single outing, making for a fast-paced and highly interactive experience. Whether you’re looking to harvest a hog or simply enjoy the thrill of watching the dogs work, this hunt delivers a true Southern-style adventure.

Enhance your hunting experience by adding comfortable lodging and meals prepared by a private chef. This optional upgrade allows you to relax after each day in the field while enjoying quality accommodations and freshly prepared meals, making your trip as enjoyable off the hunt as it is on it. Whether you're hunting with friends, family, or entertaining clients, this add-on provides a comfortable and memorable hunting experience.
