With more than 100 years of combined guide experience on both public and private properties, our team specializes in custom-fit hunting packages designed to maximize your time in the field and deliver memorable results. Based in central Louisiana and operating primarily in the historic Catahoula/Little River Basin, Full Strap & Stringer has been guiding duck hunts in the region since the early 1970s. Our operation is veteran-owned, family-oriented, and rooted in a deep respect for the outdoors and the traditions that come with it. From early teal season in September through peak migration stretching into February, we live by one motto — waiting on the migration. Our guests enjoy full-service lodging, authentic Cajun and seafood cuisine, and a relaxed, welcoming camp atmosphere. With multiple lodges capable of hosting up to 50 guests daily, we’re equipped to accommodate everything from solo hunters to large groups, families, and corporate outings. We welcome hunters of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities, and trained retrievers are always welcome to join the hunt.
